Blade & Soul is gearing up to add a new dungeon, more events, and some other new features in next week's Dawn of Darkness update. The update will be released on August 10th, although the developer hasn't confirmed any details yet, they're gearing up and will continue to do so until release.
Firstly, there will be a new dungeon called Shrouded Ajanara in the game, which is an extension that provides the basis needed to train in an attempt to eventually face and resist Chaos. This is a step up from previous dungeon sets such as Namdo Shrine, all we know is that the content will look similar with more details to be confirmed.
The frozen Vipercap cave has returned to the game, if you need to cool off from the heat weaves and stressful challenges, head to this ice cave. You are going to get rewards if you beat the boss, the developer also adds smaller events to the update if the dangerous ice cave isn't to your liking.
Other updates mainly focus on the game community, a new world chat channel will be available in Blade and Soul for players on the same server to get in touch with each other. Like always, potential issues will occur when the new public chat is launched. But I think the advantage of being able to find teams and getting involved in the Blade & Soul community would prevail.
The update will also include a redesigned system of daily tasks, the details of which will be revealed by the team in the near future. In addition, two new cosmetic items will be added to the Dawnbright Tier. Stay tuned for more information about the update until release.
